fibers on friday ~ dishcloths update

I finished up the second dishcloth.  There was a bit of the black and white cotton left so I cast on for a scrubber.

Be sure to visit Visions of Sugar Plums to see what fiber projects others are working on this week.

  1. Thanks for leaving the nice comment about my tarn hot pads. Here is my blog tutorial on how to make tarn: http://textiles4you.blogspot.com/2009/12/how-to-make-tarn-t-shirt-yarn.html Here is my you tube video on how to make it: http://www.youtube.com/user/Textiles4you#p/u/26/bEsnMUQwBFE I like to cut my tarn a half an inch wide.

I like your dishcloths. What is the white netting? I've seen onion bags used as netting for scrubbies before.

  3. Thanks! I use tulle cut about 1.5 inches wide to make scrubbies.
